Anyone else feeling the pressure at News Corp?

Been hearing whispers and seeing some odd reorganizations lately. Nothing concrete, but the vibe is definitely off. My department's been 'streamlining' for months, which usually means fewer people doing more work. Saw a post about the LA Times and it got me thinking if News Corp is heading in that direction too. Anyone in other divisions seeing similar things? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a rough spot. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard when the news industry as a whole is so volatile right now. Feels like we're all just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Anyone got any insider info or just a gut feeling they want to share? Trying to prep myself mentally, if nothing else.

Yeah, the 'streamlining' talk is definitely circulating. Feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, and the uncertainty about the future doesn't help. The LA Times situation is concerning, and it's hard not to wonder if other parts of the company are next in line for similar changes. Just trying to keep my head down and do good work, but the underlying anxiety is palpable across a lot of teams I interact with.

I've noticed a definite shift in the past year or so. There's been a lot of talk about 'synergy' and 'efficiency' that often translates into more responsibilities and fewer resources. It's creating a lot of unease, and honestly, the lack of clear communication about the company's direction makes it even tougher. Seeing what's happening at publications like the LA Times definitely fuels those worries about job security.
