Is anyone else feeling the crunch at News Corp?

Just wanted to see if I'm alone here. Over the past few weeks, it feels like the pressure has really ramped up. Workloads are increasing, and there's this constant emphasis on 'productivity.' Budgets seem tighter, and I've heard whispers about projects being put on hold or scaled back. It's creating a lot of anxiety among my team and in other departments I interact with. We're all good at our jobs, but it's hard to ignore the underlying tension. Feels like a lot of talk about the 'future of media' and 'adapting to change,' which is fine, but the immediate effect feels like everyone's walking on eggshells. Anyone else experiencing this and have any thoughts on what might be driving it? Trying to stay positive but it's getting harder.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. It's like the goalposts keep moving, and the pressure to deliver more with less is palpable. The 'productivity' focus feels like a thinly veiled way to justify cutbacks or increased demands. Heard similar things about projects being stalled. It's creating a pretty stressful atmosphere, and honestly, it's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're constantly battling against the current.

You're not alone. The vibe has been tense for a while now. That constant talk about 'the future of media' coupled with budget scrutiny and increased workloads makes you wonder where things are headed. It's tough when the emphasis is solely on output without acknowledging the human toll. Makes you question if the long-term vision is sustainable if the short-term is this brutal.
