News Corp - Seeing a lot of 'efficiency' talk lately

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of internal memos and all-hands discussions lately about 'streamlining operations' and 'driving efficiency.' It feels like a lot of corporate buzzwords, but the vibe is definitely shifting. We're being pushed to do more with less, and frankly, it's making a lot of people nervous. Has anyone else at News Corp picked up on this? Wondering if this is just standard corporate speak or if something more is brewing. It feels like they're setting the stage for something, and I'm not sure what to think. Anyone have any intel or just a general feeling about where things are headed? Feels like a lot of us are in the same boat, just trying to figure out what the current climate means for our roles.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the same. It feels like every other email mentions optimizing workflows or synergy. The 'do more with less' mantra is getting old fast. People are worried about layoffs, honestly. It's hard to not feel like we're on shaky ground when that's the constant message. Let's hope it's just a push for better processes and not a prelude to significant cuts.

Totally picking up on that vibe too. The 'efficiency' talk is louder than ever. It's the classic corporate playbook – talk about streamlining before making big changes. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on being productive, but the underlying anxiety is palpable. It's unnerving when your daily work is overshadowed by the constant buzz of cost-cutting and optimization.
