Thinking about future roles, given the media landscape

Honestly, with all the talk about tech transforming everything, and the general economic headwinds, I'm starting to seriously consider what my next steps might be, even though there haven't been any official announcements here at News Corp. It feels prudent to at least be aware of what's happening around us. The industry is changing so fast, and I'm not sure everyone is adapting quick enough. Feels like the skills I have might be more valuable in different sectors now. Has anyone else been having these thoughts? Like, are you looking at adjacent industries or completely different fields? Just trying to get a sense of the general mood and see if others are proactively thinking about their careers outside of the immediate company situation. Any advice or shared experiences would be appreciated.

Completely understand where you're coming from. The pace of change in media, especially with digital disruption, is relentless. It's wise to keep an eye on market trends and consider how your skillset aligns with emerging opportunities, both within and outside traditional media. Thinking ahead is never a bad strategy, especially in a sector as dynamic as this one.
