Another wave of layoffs hitting Nike. This time it's 1400 people, reported today. I'm not directly impacted *yet*, but my entire department is on edge. We've been told for months that things are 'tight' and 'performance is key'. Now this. It feels like a constant state of anxiety, waiting for the axe to fall. They keep talking about investing in future growth and innovation, but how can you innovate when you're constantly shedding talent and morale is in the basement? Seems like a pretty bleak picture for the company right now. Anyone have intel on where these cuts are concentrated? Is it specific divisions, or a broad sweep? Trying to prepare myself mentally and professionally for whatever might come next.

That's rough. It's hard to stay motivated and focused when there's so much uncertainty. The talk of innovation sounds hollow when people are just worried about their jobs. Hoping you and your team manage to weather this storm. It's a difficult environment when leadership's messaging doesn't seem to align with the reality on the ground. This sounds like a really stressful situation for everyone at Nike. Constant layoffs must create a toxic atmosphere. It's understandable that morale is low and people are on edge.
