Another 1400 gone. Anyone else feeling the pressure?

Just saw the news about another 1400 people let go at Nike. This is getting out of hand. Feels like every few months there's another wave. The $2 billion cost-cutting plan is clearly hitting hard, but it's our jobs on the line. I'm still here, for now, but the vibe in the office is just... tense. People are worried, and who can blame them? Every meeting, every announcement, you're just waiting for your name to be on the next list. It's demoralizing. Is this the new normal for Nike? Just constant churn and layoffs to meet some arbitrary financial goal? I'm starting to look around, honestly. This level of instability isn't sustainable for morale or for building a career here. Anyone else feel like they're just waiting for the axe to fall?

It's incredibly disheartening to see these repeated layoffs. The constant uncertainty must be unbearable for everyone still there. It's hard to maintain morale and focus on work when you're constantly looking over your shoulder, wondering if your role is secure. I hope those affected land on their feet quickly and that the company can find a more stable path forward soon. This cycle of cuts is just not sustainable for employee well-being.
