Anyone else feeling like a sitting duck at WHQ?

Been at Nike for 7 years now, in apparel design. Lately, there's been this weird vibe in the office. Lots of closed-door meetings, hushed conversations, and people being generally vague about what they're working on. Our team hasn't been directly told anything, but the rumors are swirling like crazy. Heard whispers about 'restructuring' and 'realigning resources,' which we all know is code for layoffs. It's hard to focus on designing new shorts when you're constantly wondering if you'll have a job next week. Anyone else feeling this anxiety, especially in apparel? Should I start polishing up my resume?

Totally feeling the same anxiety. Been here a bit longer, and I've seen these 'restructurings' before. Usually, the people who survive are the ones who make themselves indispensable – find a problem and SOLVE IT. Volunteer for that awful project no one wants. Make your value undeniable. Honestly, these corporate rumors are almost always overblown. People love to speculate. Sure, maybe there'll be some shuffling around, but a full-blown layoff? I doubt it. Nike's a global powerhouse. Focus on doing your best work and try to tune out the noise. Worrying about something that might not even happen is a waste of energy.
