Okay, so I haven't seen any official announcements, but things feel... off. My team has been under a lot of pressure to hit aggressive targets, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for any roles that aren't absolutely critical. Plus, I've noticed a few people on other teams quietly updating their LinkedIn profiles or suddenly becoming very interested in networking. It's the unspoken stuff that gets you, right? Like when you see heads of departments suddenly going silent on Slack or team meetings being canceled last minute without much explanation. It makes you wonder if budgets are being tightened or if some strategic pivots are happening behind closed doors that might lead to headcount adjustments.
