From what I've seen, Okta severance tends to be pretty standard for tech. Tenure is definitely a factor; I'd expect at least 2 weeks per year of service, maybe a bit more given your L4 level. They usually include continued benefits for a few months (health, dental, etc.) and some kind of outplacement assistance to help you find a new job. It's worth checking your offer letter and any employee handbooks you might have access to – sometimes the details are buried there.
Honestly, don't get your hopes up too high based on rumors or past packages. Companies change their policies all the time, especially during uncertain times. The severance could be bare minimum legal requirements, which is usually around 1-2 weeks per year of service. Start updating your resume and networking now, *before* any announcement, just in case. That's the best way to protect yourself regardless of what Okta offers.
