ON Semiconductor - What's the vibe post-layoffs?

So, the news is out about the 114 layoffs in Austin on March 8th. For those still at ON Semi, what's the general feeling in the company right now? Is there more uncertainty, or has the dust settled? Are teams feeling the pressure, or is it business as usual for most? Heard whispers that some projects might be impacted or re-prioritized. Trying to gauge the overall morale and stability. Any insights from different sites or departments would be helpful. Trying to understand if this was a targeted event or if it signals broader changes coming. Thanks for any info.

It's tough to say definitively what the 'vibe' is across the entire company after news like that. My experience at my site has been that while there's definitely a somber mood and some natural anxiety, most teams are trying to focus on their work. Communication has been okay, but you can feel the underlying tension. Some projects are definitely being reviewed, and resource allocation is a hot topic.

From what I'm hearing, it really depends on the department and location. Some areas seem to be largely unaffected and are carrying on, while others are feeling the pinch more directly, especially those tied to the Austin operations or specific product lines that might have been impacted. People are trying to stay positive and focus on performance, but the uncertainty is palpable for many.
