ONEOK - Anyone else feeling the jitters?

Hey everyone, just checking in. Been with ONEOK for a few years now in [department, e.g., Engineering/IT/Finance]. Lately, there's been a weird vibe around the office. It's nothing concrete, no official announcements, but you can just feel it. People are a bit more guarded, whispers in the breakroom about "optimization" and "streamlining operations." I've been trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but the uncertainty is definitely getting to me. Has anyone else picked up on anything? Any RIFs rumored or anything going on in other departments? Just looking for some honest feedback from fellow employees. Trying to get a pulse on the situation without causing undue panic. My performance reviews have been solid, and my manager hasn't said anything directly, but the general atmosphere is hard to ignore. Anyone in similar situations or with insights into what might be happening at ONEOK?

I hear you. I've been here a while too and have noticed a shift in atmosphere lately. It's like that low hum of an impending change that you can't quite pinpoint. While I try not to get caught up in office gossip, the subtle increase in meetings about 'synergies' and 'efficiency improvements' has my attention. Hopefully, it's just standard business cycles and not something more disruptive.
