Is anyone else's org suddenly 'restructuring' like crazy?

I'm in Cloud Infrastructure, been here almost 7 years, and the word 'restructuring' is suddenly EVERYWHERE. My manager can't give a straight answer, just corporate buzzwords. We had a re-org like, a year and a half ago, and things were just starting to settle down. Now this? Is anyone else seeing this in their org? Is this the quiet before the storm? I'm updating my resume just in case. The lack of transparency is making me crazy. Seriously considering jumping ship if this keeps up. Anyone else feeling the same?

Yep, same here. I'm in apps dev. Constant restructuring and 'alignments' are the norm. They keep telling us it's to improve efficiency, but it just feels like shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. I wouldn't be surprised if there are layoffs coming; these things usually precede them. Start networking aggressively and polish that resume. It's better to be prepared than caught off guard. Good luck.

Honestly, I'm not seeing that in my org (Fusion Middleware). Maybe it's specific to certain product areas? I know there's always some level of internal adjustment happening, but 'restructuring' sounds more significant. Could just be your management is particularly bad at communication. Either way, sounds stressful. Maybe try to discreetly feel out other teams to see if they're experiencing the same thing. Knowledge is power!
