It's completely normal to feel that way. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (and then feared losing the t-shirt). Reach out to those who were let go. A simple 'thinking of you' message, offering to review their resume or connect them with someone in your network can make a difference. Don't underestimate the power of small gestures. And remember, your value is still needed, that's why you're still there. Focus on doing good work and supporting the team now. The guilt might not disappear, but it will lessen.
Honestly, 'survivor's guilt' is a bit dramatic. It's a business. They made a decision. You contribute value; they kept you. End of story. Instead of wallowing, use this as a wake-up call. Update your skills, make yourself indispensable, and be ready for the next round because let's be real, in Oracle, there's ALWAYS a next round. Help your ex-colleagues if you want, but don't let their situation paralyze you.
