Severance packages after the latest Oracle cuts - anyone have details?

The news of another ~500 layoffs dropped on June 27th, and while the numbers are smaller than some of the previous rounds, it's still tough for those affected. I'm more curious about the severance packages being offered this time around. I've seen some chatter on other platforms about previous layoffs where the severance wasn't great, especially regarding accelerated vesting of RSUs. Some people felt like they were left high and dry, particularly if they were close to a vesting date. Are the terms consistent across these recent rounds, or are they changing? If anyone here was impacted by this latest wave or has friends who were, and are willing to share (anonymously, of course), what did the package look like? Anything beyond the standard weeks per year of service? Did it include any help with healthcare continuation or outplacement services? Just trying to get a sense of what to expect if the worst happens.

Heard similar rumblings. It's always a concerning time when these things happen. From what I've gathered, the specifics can vary wildly depending on role and tenure, which seems to be a common theme. Hoping those impacted get something fair, especially with the stock options being such a big part of compensation these days. The lack of transparency on these packages is really frustrating for everyone trying to plan their next steps.

That's rough to hear about the latest cuts. Regarding severance, I've seen a lot of posts from folks who felt Oracle's past packages didn't fully account for things like unvested RSUs, which is a huge bummer, especially if you're vested in long-term. It seems like a common complaint is that the standard offers don't always reflect the true value of what employees have built there. Hopefully, this round is handled with a bit more consideration.
