Anyone else feel like Pac-Corp is holding its breath?

Been at Pac-Corp for a few years now, and honestly, the vibe has been getting stranger. Not hearing any official word, no rumors of mass layoffs or anything concrete, but there's this underlying tension. Meetings feel more strategic, like they're planning for something, but what? We've been told to 'do more with less' for ages, but lately it feels like the 'less' is really starting to bite. People are stretched pretty thin, and the usual office chatter about weekend plans or projects has been replaced with hushed conversations about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining'. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my department, or is this a company-wide thing? Trying to figure out if I should start dusting off the resume or if this is just another corporate buzzword cycle. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like the rug could be pulled any day, even without a formal announcement. Just looking for some insight from others in the same boat.
