Is it just me, or is productivity being pushed way harder lately?

Lately, it feels like the pressure is really on at Packaging Corp to squeeze every last drop of output. We're getting more demands, tighter deadlines, and it feels like the expectation is we'll just 'do more with less'. It’s exhausting. This comes on the heels of some quiet departures in other departments over the past few months. I'm starting to wonder if this increased productivity push is a precursor to something bigger, or if management is just trying to make numbers look good before a potential restructuring. Has anyone else noticed this trend? It's making it hard to stay motivated when it feels like we're being set up for failure or are just cogs in a machine being wound tighter and tighter. Curious if others are feeling this immense pressure and what your take is.

I'm feeling it too. It's definitely a noticeable shift. The pace has picked up significantly, and it feels like we're constantly chasing the next target. It's understandable that companies want efficiency, but this current level feels unsustainable. I'm curious to see how long this can last before people start burning out or looking elsewhere. The constant pressure is definitely taking a toll on morale.
