Is PAC trying to do more with less? Staffing feels thin.

Hey everyone, been at PAC for a few years now and something feels… off lately. The workload seems to be steadily increasing across the board, but I'm not seeing any corresponding increase in headcount. It feels like we're expected to do more with less, which is starting to take a toll. My team is stretched thin, and I've heard similar sentiments from colleagues in other departments. It's not just about being busy; it feels like we're constantly firefighting and there's no breathing room to actually be proactive or focus on strategic projects. Anyone else noticing this? Curious if it's just my impression or a wider trend at Packaging Corp. Wondering what the endgame is here.

I've noticed the same trend. It's definitely a challenge when workloads grow without proportional staffing. It puts a lot of pressure on existing teams and can definitely impact morale and the quality of work when people are stretched too thin. Hopefully, management recognizes this and addresses it soon.

I can relate to this. It feels like there's a constant push to maximize output with minimal resources, and that can make it tough to do your best work. When you're constantly feeling overwhelmed, it's hard to innovate or even just catch your breath. It's a sentiment that seems to be shared by many.
