Morale tanking at PAC? What's going on?

Seriously, the atmosphere at Packaging Corp feels pretty bleak these days. It's more than just the usual Monday blues. People seem less engaged, more cynical. Used to be a pretty solid place to work, but lately, there's a palpable sense of unease. Conversations often drift towards 'what ifs' and how things used to be better. There's a definite lack of enthusiasm for new initiatives, and people are just kind of going through the motions. Is anyone else feeling this major dip in morale? Feels like something is brewing beneath the surface, and it's not good. Management seems oblivious or is choosing to ignore it. Just feels like a matter of time before something breaks.

Echoing this sentiment. The disconnect between leadership and the shop floor feels wider than ever. Projects get announced with fanfare, but the follow-through and resources just aren't there, leading to frustration. It's tough to stay motivated when you feel like your efforts aren't truly valued or that the company's direction is constantly shifting without clear communication. Hoping things improve soon.

Definitely feeling the drag. It seems like there's a lot of uncertainty about the future, and that tends to breed negativity. The lack of transparency on certain decisions makes it hard to trust the process. I miss the days when we felt like a team pushing towards common goals. Now it's more about individual survival. Wondering if management is even aware of how bad it's gotten.
