Anyone else seeing a hiring freeze/slowdown at PANW?

Hey all, been at PANW for a couple of years now, and lately, things just feel...different. My team's been talking, and it seems like new reqs are drying up, and even the ones that were open are being put on hold or pushed way back. Recruiters seem a lot quieter too, which is a bit concerning given how much we've been growing the past few years. Is this a company-wide thing, or is it just my department? Just trying to get a pulse on what's going on internally. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or has heard any whispers. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the vibe is definitely shifting.

Yeah, definitely feeling the shift over here too. Heard similar whispers from folks in other divisions. Seems like a lot of the roles that were open for a while are now either canceled or on indefinite pause. Recruiters have definitely gone radio silent. It's a stark contrast to the rapid hiring we saw not too long ago. Hopefully, it's just a temporary market adjustment and not something more significant.

Interesting to hear this. My team hasn't gotten any official word, but the lack of new openings and the way existing processes are dragging is definitely noticeable. My manager’s been a bit tight-lipped about future headcount. I was attributing it to the current economic climate, but if it's more widespread, that does raise some questions about the company's direction or growth targets for the near future.
