Rant: Sick of the constant re-orgs

Seriously, how many times are they going to reshuffle the deck? I'm on the Threat Intelligence team, and it feels like every six months, we're reporting to a new manager, a new department, or a new VP. It's exhausting! We finally get used to a process, start building relationships, and BAM, everything changes again. It completely kills productivity and morale. I get that companies need to adapt, but this feels excessive. I'm starting to wonder if leadership even knows what they're doing. Anyone else feeling this way?

I feel your pain. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (several, actually, with different team logos). The constant shifting makes it impossible to focus on actual work. It's like they think rearranging chairs is a substitute for strategy. What I've found helps, a little, is documenting *everything*. Process changes, contacts, everything. That way, when the next re-org hits, you're not starting from scratch.

Honestly, while I sympathize, constant change is kind of the norm in tech, especially at rapidly growing companies. Threat Intelligence is a hot area, and they're probably trying to find the best org structure to maximize impact. It sucks, but instead of just complaining, maybe try to see it as an opportunity to learn different approaches and expand your network. Could be beneficial in the long run, even if it's frustrating now.
