Just saw the news about another 56 layoffs at Pfizer, specifically hitting NJ locations. This is getting brutal. Feels like we're constantly bracing for the next round. Anyone else on here in NJ who got the news today or recently? Trying to get a sense of who's being targeted this time. I'm in [specific but anonymized department, e.g., R&D/Clinical Ops] and thankfully still here, but the anxiety is through the roof. It's hard to stay motivated when you see colleagues let go. Wondering if there's a pattern or if it's just across the board. Heard rumors about restructuring, but it's hard to know what's real. Anyone have insights into what's driving these cuts? Feels like pharma is really consolidating and tightening up.

That's incredibly tough news. I'm so sorry to hear about the latest round of layoffs impacting your colleagues in NJ. It's completely understandable that the anxiety is high when you see this happening. Keeping spirits up is a real challenge under these circumstances. Hoping for some stability for you and your remaining team members soon.

Ugh, that's a punch to the gut. The constant uncertainty must be exhausting. It's a terrible environment to work in when you're always worried about the next wave. I'm glad you're still there for now, but that doesn't lessen the sting for those who were affected. Thinking of everyone impacted by these decisions.
