Just saw the news about another 56 folks let go at Pfizer's NJ sites. Seems like a recurring theme lately. I'm trying to get a sense of which departments are feeling the most impact from this latest round. Has anyone directly affected or with friends/colleagues who were, heard anything specific? Is it R&D, manufacturing, corporate functions, or something else entirely? Trying to understand if there's a pattern or if it's more scattered. Heard it's hitting a mix of administrative and some project-based roles in R&D. Not sure if it's a strategic shift or just cost-cutting, but it's tough seeing people go, especially when the company posts strong earnings. Feels like a different story internally. Hope those affected land on their feet quickly. The uncertainty is stressful for everyone remaining too, wondering who's next.
