Honestly, I'm so tired of the constant uncertainty at this company. I've only been here for 3 years, and it feels like every other month there's a new rumor about layoffs. The stress is just unbearable. I'm in marketing, and we're already stretched thin. If they cut anyone else from my team, I don't know how we'll manage. I'm starting to think it's time to just proactively look for another job. The money is good here, but it's not worth the constant anxiety. Anyone else feeling the same way? I'm seriously considering a smaller biotech, even if it means a slight pay cut. At least there might be some stability. This place is a rollercoaster, and I'm ready to get off.

Start quietly updating your resume and networking. Even if you don't leave immediately, knowing you have options can reduce the stress. Don't let the anxiety paralyze you – take proactive steps to control your future.

Honestly, every big company has its ups and downs. Layoff rumors are practically a corporate tradition. Have you considered talking to your manager about your concerns? They might be able to offer some reassurance, or at least give you a better sense of what's really going on. Jumping ship now might be premature; you could be trading one set of problems for another. Just my two cents.
