Honestly, I'm so done with this constant cloud of potential layoffs hanging over our heads! It feels like every few months, there's another round of rumors and whispers, and everyone's walking on eggshells. I'm in regulatory affairs, and even though my team is usually considered 'safe', you never know. It's impossible to focus on my work when I'm constantly worried about losing my job. The stress is affecting my sleep, my relationships, everything. It's like they're intentionally keeping us on edge to boost productivity or something. I wish they'd just be transparent and tell us what's going on, instead of letting us all slowly drive ourselves crazy. Seriously considering starting to apply elsewhere just to escape this toxic environment.

I completely understand. The uncertainty is the worst part. I was at another big pharma company that went through constant restructuring. My advice? Document *everything* you do. Quantify your accomplishments whenever possible. It makes it easier to highlight your value if/when the time comes. Also, start networking internally and externally. Having options is empowering, even if you don't use them. Take care of yourself; stress impacts everything.

Maybe it's not intentional, but it *is* corporate. Honestly, this sounds like standard big pharma behavior. They're always looking to cut costs. Regulatory affairs might seem safe *now*, but remember the mergers of the past? Entire departments were duplicated and then slashed. Best to be prepared. Update your resume, see what's out there. Knowing your market value can ease some of the anxiety, even if you choose to stay.
