PMI - Anyone else seeing hiring freezes or project delays?

Just wanted to see if this is isolated to my department or a broader trend at PMI. We've had a couple of key roles frozen for months now, and some new projects that were greenlit are suddenly on indefinite hold with vague explanations about 'resource allocation.' It feels like the purse strings are tightening pretty significantly. Coupled with the 'efficiency' talk that's been circulating, I'm starting to get a bad feeling. My manager is being tight-lipped, just saying we need to 'focus on core deliverables.' Not exactly reassuring. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar slowdowns or outright hiring freezes. It makes you wonder what the long-term outlook is, especially with all the industry shifts happening. Are these just standard cyclical adjustments, or is something more fundamental changing? Anyone have any intel, even anecdotal, about departments being scaled back or specific initiatives being cut? Trying to make sense of the current climate here.
