PMI - Rumblings of a Restructure? What's Going On?

Hey everyone. Been seeing some weird stuff happening at PMI lately. Not outright layoffs that I've heard of, but definitely a lot of churn. People leaving unexpectedly, roles being redefined on the fly, and a general sense of 'what's next?' that's making me a bit anxious. My team lost two people last week with very little explanation, just vague 'resource alignment' talk. Now we're being asked to absorb their workload without any clear plan. Anyone else in other departments noticing similar trends? Is this a precursor to something bigger, or just the usual corporate reshuffling? Trying to stay calm and focused, but the uncertainty is getting to me. Just want to know if this is a widespread thing or if I'm overthinking it. Would appreciate any insights or similar experiences.

Yeah, I've been feeling the same vibe across a few different teams here. It's definitely not business as usual. The 'resource alignment' speak is becoming a broken record, and the lack of clear communication is unsettling. Honestly, it feels like they're shuffling deck chairs while the ship is… well, let's just say things are unclear. Makes you wonder if there's a bigger picture we're not privy to yet. Let's hope for some clarity soon, because this uncertainty is draining.

Totally echo this. My department has seen similar flux. People are leaving, and while there aren't massive, announced cuts, the constant internal shifts and vaguely explained role changes are creating a lot of anxiety. It's hard to stay focused on your own work when you're constantly trying to figure out what's happening around you and if your own position is secure. The absorption of workload without proper planning is also a huge red flag. It’s a strange time to be here.
