That sucks to hear. Six years is a good chunk of time to invest in a company, and it's brutal when they pull the rug out from under you. Restructuring always seems to hit the people who are actually performing. Take the time you need to process it all, and then hit that job hunt hard. Polish up your resume and lean on your network. You've got this!
I'm not saying it isn't rough, because getting laid off always is. But let's be real, P&G has been hinting at changes for ages. Did you not see the writing on the wall? Six years exceeding targets means you have a solid record. Use that severance wisely, take a breath, and start looking. There are plenty of companies out there that need supply chain expertise. Don't let this get you down for too long.
