Well, it finally happened. Got the call this morning. 'Restructuring' my ass. Six years in supply chain management, consistently exceeding targets, and this is the thanks I get? My manager was clearly reading from a script and looked like he was about to cry. I feel completely numb. Now I'm stuck figuring out COBRA, severance, and how to explain this to my family. Seriously, P&G, you're dead to me. Time to drown my sorrows in cheap beer and start the soul-crushing job hunt. Anyone else from the supply chain team affected?

That sucks to hear. Six years is a good chunk of time to invest in a company, and it's brutal when they pull the rug out from under you. Restructuring always seems to hit the people who are actually performing. Take the time you need to process it all, and then hit that job hunt hard. Polish up your resume and lean on your network. You've got this!

I'm not saying it isn't rough, because getting laid off always is. But let's be real, P&G has been hinting at changes for ages. Did you not see the writing on the wall? Six years exceeding targets means you have a solid record. Use that severance wisely, take a breath, and start looking. There are plenty of companies out there that need supply chain expertise. Don't let this get you down for too long.
