It's definitely a tense atmosphere. While leadership is talking about "streamlining" and "focusing on core brands," you can feel the unease. People are naturally looking at their own roles and departments, wondering if they're in the line of fire. Water cooler talk is full of speculation, but everyone's trying to stay professional and focused on their work. It’s a waiting game for many, and the uncertainty is palpable.
From what I've gathered, the sentiment is mixed. Some see this as a necessary, albeit painful, step towards a more agile P&G, focusing resources where they'll yield the best results. Others are certainly worried, especially those in departments that might be considered less central to the future vision. The company has weathered storms before, but the scale of this restructuring is significant and has definitely shaken things up internally.
