Hey everyone, saw the news about P&G layoffs on June 11th. CoStar reported it, but the number of affected employees wasn't super clear. Does anyone have more specific intel on how many people were impacted and which departments took the biggest hit? I'm hearing rumblings, but nothing concrete. Trying to get a handle on the scale of this. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Was it a broad sweep or targeted? Any word on severance or support for those affected? Feels like a lot of companies are doing this right now, and P&G is usually seen as more stable.

Heard some chatter about that too. My understanding is it was primarily focused on consolidating some functions within the supply chain and IT divisions. Not a massive number of people, thankfully, but definitely impactful for those directly affected. Rumor is they're offering pretty standard severance packages, nothing extraordinary, but also not a slap in the face. Seems like a move to streamline operations rather than a wholesale cutback.
