Honestly, it's all over the map. I was in brand management a few years back and saw people get anywhere from 1 month to 12 months, depending on their level and tenure. Market research might be slightly different, but years of service is usually the biggest factor. Start polishing your resume and LinkedIn profile now, just in case. Knowing your market value helps in any negotiation too.
Don't get your hopes up. P&G isn't known for being overly generous. Two weeks per year is probably optimistic, especially in the current economic climate. They'll likely try to give the bare minimum to avoid lawsuits. Best to overestimate your expenses and underestimate potential severance. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, but don't rely on a golden parachute.
