Interview process seems to be dragging at Progressive?

Applied for a Sr. Analyst role a few weeks back and it feels like I'm in limbo. Had the initial recruiter screen, then a hiring manager interview, and now it's just... silence. Usually, Progressive's process is pretty efficient, but this feels like it's taking forever. I followed up twice and got the standard 'we're still evaluating candidates' line. It's making me wonder if they're holding off on making decisions or if they're just swamped. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Trying to figure out if I should keep this as my top priority or start looking elsewhere more seriously. Any insights from folks who've interviewed there lately would be appreciated.

I've been through the Progressive hiring process a few times, and while it's usually quite streamlined, I have had experiences where it stretched longer than expected. Sometimes, internal approvals or a large volume of strong candidates can cause delays. Try to keep your chin up; it doesn't necessarily mean anything negative. I'd suggest continuing your job search while you wait, just to keep your options open, but hopefully, you'll hear back soon with good news.

That's frustrating! I applied for a role there last quarter and it took about a month from first contact to offer. There were a couple of unexpected week-long gaps where I heard nothing. It turned out they were just working through a backlog and had a sudden influx of applications. I wouldn't read too much into it yet. Keep following up politely every week or so, and if you don't hear anything by the end of next week, maybe consider it a sign to focus your energy elsewhere.
