Following up on the May 1st WARN notice for the Colorado office—did we ever get a clear picture of which departments took the brunt of the 69 roles? I’ve seen a lot of speculation on here and internal channels, but it’s been surprisingly quiet. I know a few folks in IT/Support who were impacted, but it felt like a weird mix of roles. I’m trying to gauge if this was a targeted tech trimming or just a general headcount reduction to pad the numbers before the next quarter. If you were part of the group let go, or know someone who was, please share the context—anonymous, obviously. Just trying to figure out if my own role is on the chopping block for the next phase. Honestly, the silence from leadership is the worst part. Better to know the truth than to keep guessing while the workloads just get dumped onto whoever is left standing.

It honestly feels like they are being incredibly selective with how they communicate these cuts to keep the rest of us in the dark. From what I’ve gathered talking to people across different Slack channels, it wasn’t just one department. It seems like they took a surgical approach to trim overhead in IT and Support specifically to hit those quarterly efficiency targets. If you look at the roles, they seem to be focusing on mid-level positions that they think can be offloaded to automation or outsourced entirely. It’s definitely a headcount play disguised as restructuring.

I was affected in the latest round, and I can tell you it felt completely random. I was in a non-tech role, and my entire team was blindsided. Management didn't give us a clear 'why' other than the usual corporate jargon about streamlining and future-proofing. It’s pretty frustrating to watch everyone speculate when the reality is just a cold, calculated move to keep the shareholders happy before the next earnings call. Don’t expect any transparency from the top; they’ve already moved on to the next quarterly strategy.
