Hang in there. It's completely understandable to feel anxious when there's so much speculation and a lack of clear communication. That kind of uncertainty is a heavy burden, especially when you're performing well. Focus on what you can control – your work and your contributions. Hopefully, things will become clearer soon and the situation will resolve itself in a way that's less stressful for everyone.
I hear you. That atmosphere of 'what if' is incredibly draining and makes it hard to stay motivated. When leadership is being tight-lipped, it amplifies the worst fears. Keep doing your best, and maybe start discreetly updating your resume and networking. Having options can sometimes provide a little peace of mind, even if nothing comes of it.
