Raymond James - Any Recent Changes in Hiring Freeze?

Been hearing some rumors about a potential hiring freeze or at least a significant slowdown in recruitment across some divisions at RJ. Applied for a role a few weeks back and the recruiter mentioned things were 'under review' which is usually corporate speak for 'on hold.' Is anyone in recruiting or management seeing this? Wondering if this is tied to market conditions or something specific to the firm. Trying to gauge if it's worth continuing to pursue opportunities there or if I should be looking elsewhere. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've noticed a similar pattern with my applications. The usual prompt responses have slowed considerably, and the feedback, when I get it, is vague about timelines. It does feel like there's a general tightening across the board, not just at Raymond James, given the current economic climate. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but it's definitely making the job search a bit more challenging. Hopefully, things pick up soon. Good luck with your pursuit!
