I've noticed a similar trend with RJ postings. It could definitely be a seasonal thing, especially with the end of the year approaching. Companies often pull back on hiring as budgets are finalized and the holidays approach. Keep an eye out in January; you might see a surge then if it's just a typical slowdown. I haven't applied recently, but I do recall similar lulls in the past around this time.
Interesting question. I haven't heard anything concrete about a formal hiring freeze at Raymond James, but the slowdown in postings is definitely noticeable. It's possible they're reassessing their needs for the upcoming year or waiting for budget approvals. My advice would be to keep applying to roles that genuinely interest you and don't get discouraged by the current quiet. The market can be unpredictable, and things often shift quickly.
