Just saw the notification hit for the Richmond site. Looks like 19 of us are officially on the list for the November 30th exit. It’s always the same story—leadership talks about 'strategic alignment' and 'optimizing our footprint' while we’re the ones left scrambling to update LinkedIn. The timing feels especially brutal with the holidays right around the corner. Has anyone heard if this is just a localized Virginia thing, or are they planning to roll more cuts across the other hubs before the end of the year? I haven't seen much chatter on the internal channels, but I imagine people are too scared to post anything openly. Trying to figure out if the severance packages are uniform or if they vary by tenure. If anyone has experience with their package negotiations, please reach out. Good luck to everyone else in the office—I’m done with the corporate shell game.

I'm sorry to hear about the Richmond office. It is absolutely brutal timing right before the holidays. I haven't heard anything definitive about other hubs yet, but the silence from leadership is usually the worst part. Stay strong and reach out to your network now before everyone heads out for the break. LinkedIn is your best friend right now, even if it feels like a chore. Keep your head up, the industry is tight-knit and people are usually willing to help when they see mass layoffs like this.

Same old script from management. 'Strategic alignment' is just corporate speak for cutting costs to satisfy the street while the rest of us deal with the fallout. I suspect this isn't isolated to Virginia; they usually do these things in waves to keep the rest of the company off-balance. Don't wait for internal memos to confirm the scope—update your resume today and start leveraging your contacts at other firms. Don't let their lack of transparency keep you from securing your next move.
