Q3 expectations vs. reality at ResMed?

Coming up on the end of Q3 and wanted to see how others are feeling about our performance and any potential fallout. Heard some chatter about hitting targets being tougher than expected this quarter, especially with the macro environment. Management seems cautiously optimistic in public communications, but the internal mood feels a bit more tense. Anyone in sales or product development have a realistic picture of how we're tracking? I'm wondering if this could lead to some belt-tightening measures down the line, beyond just the usual budget reviews. It's always hard to tell with medical device companies how much is just normal cyclical business and how much might be a precursor to something else. Any intel is appreciated, trying to understand the broader picture.

I've been hearing similar whispers. The supply chain headaches seem persistent, and while the demand for our products is undeniable, getting them into the hands of patients efficiently is proving to be a significant hurdle. It's easy for management to paint a rosy picture publicly, but the reality on the ground feels like a constant juggling act. Hoping for a strong Q4 to make up for any Q3 shortfalls, but the uncertainty is definitely palpable across departments.

From my perspective in R&D, we're pushing hard on innovation, but the financial headwinds are definitely making resource allocation a tighter squeeze. We're seeing increased scrutiny on project spend and a general sense of urgency to demonstrate ROI quickly. While the long-term vision for ResMed is solid, these short-term pressures are creating a bit of a grind. Let's hope the upcoming earnings call brings some clarity and a clear path forward without too much disruption.
