ResMed - Anyone else feeling the budget cuts?

Hey everyone, been at ResMed for a few years now in [department, e.g., engineering/marketing]. Lately, it feels like the atmosphere has shifted. Budgets for travel, training, and even some project resources seem to have tightened significantly. It's not just my team either; I've heard whispers from colleagues in other departments about similar freezes or major cuts. Is this a company-wide thing, or am I just in a department that's facing more scrutiny? I haven't seen any official announcements or heard about layoffs, but the mood feels a bit more cautious than usual. Are you guys seeing this across ResMed? Wondering if it's a precursor to something bigger or just a standard belt-tightening exercise. Curious to hear what others are experiencing.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed it too. It's not just your department, seems pretty widespread. We've had to get creative with resources, and any non-essential spending is practically a non-starter. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy is, doesn't it? Hoping it's just a temporary phase and not indicative of bigger issues down the line. Curious to hear if anyone has heard any official word.

I'm in [different department] and can confirm the budget squeeze. It's impacting our ability to engage with key partners and attend important industry events, which is a bit concerning given how competitive the market is. We're pushing for more efficiency, but it feels like we're being asked to do more with less. Hopefully, this isn't the new normal here.
