ResMed - Is headcount frozen or am I missing something?

Noticed a lot of roles I was tracking on LinkedIn have been stagnant for weeks, or even reposted with different descriptions. My manager also seems to be deflecting direct questions about backfilling open positions. It's making it really hard to plan for team growth and even manage current workload effectively. Is this a company-wide hiring freeze, or is it team-specific? No official communication has come out, which is the weirdest part. Just this quiet, almost palpable hesitation on bringing new people in. Curious to hear if others are seeing this, especially in different departments. Are we all just in a holding pattern?

I've seen something similar! A few roles I was watching in engineering have been up for ages, and some have been tweaked a couple of times. It does feel like there's a general slowdown, but you're right, the lack of official word is strange. It makes you wonder if they're reassessing priorities or just being extra cautious with new hires. Hopefully, it's not a sign of bigger issues. It definitely impacts team planning when you can't get a clear picture of future headcount.
