ResMed - Q4 Outlook and Performance Concerns

Hey all, seeing some mixed signals lately regarding ResMed. With the recent Q3 earnings call behind us, I'm trying to get a better read on what Q4 might hold. Sales figures seemed a bit soft in some segments, and I'm hearing whispers about increased competition in the CPAP market, especially with some smaller players innovating. Anyone else in product development or sales seeing this firsthand? Are we expecting any significant product launches or strategic shifts to counter this? My team's roadmap feels a bit uncertain, and frankly, the overall market sentiment isn't exactly booming. Just trying to gauge the general feeling and if others are anticipating any major changes or potential impacts on headcount down the line. Trying not to panic, but some transparency would be appreciated.

I've been following ResMed closely, and I agree the Q3 performance raised some questions. The CPAP market is definitely getting more crowded, and those smaller innovators are making some interesting moves. From what I've gathered, the company is banking on their next-gen devices and broader digital health offerings to maintain their edge. I'm not hearing about any massive strategic overhauls, but rather continued focus on their existing strengths and gradual expansion into new areas.

It's tough to ignore the competitive pressures, but let's not forget ResMed's established ecosystem and strong brand loyalty. While some segments might show softer growth, their focus on integrated care solutions and data analytics is a significant differentiator. I'm cautiously optimistic about Q4, expecting them to leverage their installed base and continued R&D to navigate the evolving landscape. Product development is always churning, and I wouldn't be surprised by subtle but impactful feature enhancements.
