ResMed: Feeling the pinch in Q3/Q4?

Hey everyone, been browsing around and seeing a lot of chatter about potential slowdowns in medtech in general. Wondering if anyone at ResMed is feeling it firsthand? My team hasn't had any official announcements or anything, but there's definitely a different vibe lately. Projects seem to be getting more scrutiny, and there's been a quiet pause on a couple of new initiatives that were supposed to kick off. It's not panic stations by any means, but it feels like things are tightening up. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it just a seasonal thing, or are people hearing more concrete signals about efficiency measures coming down the pipeline? Trying to gauge the broader sentiment without causing unnecessary alarm.

Yeah, I've noticed a similar shift internally. It's subtle, but definitely there. Budgets feel a bit more constrained, and there's a general sense of needing to be extra diligent with resource allocation. It’s not a crisis, but the free-wheeling days of last year seem to be on hold. Been trying to gauge if it's company-wide or just our department, but the whispers suggest it's broader. Let's hope it's just a seasonal adjustment or a proactive measure.

Can confirm the vibe. Been hearing similar things from colleagues in different divisions. Seems like there's a heightened focus on efficiency and ROI for new projects. We're definitely seeing more questions and longer review cycles. It's understandable given the economic climate, but it does make planning a bit more challenging. Definitely not the 'all systems go' feeling we had not too long ago. Still optimistic about the long term, though.
