The WSJ reported layoffs at Rivian on June 16th. Anyone have more details or can confirm from the inside? Trying to get a sense of the scope and departments affected. This is the third or fourth time we've seen this happen in what feels like a short period. It's tough to see so many colleagues impacted. Hoping those affected land on their feet quickly. Just looking for any verified information beyond the news articles. It's hard to gauge the true impact when information is scarce. Anyone willing to share what they know? Appreciate any insights.

Saw the reports too. It's definitely concerning to see layoffs happening so frequently. I don't have any inside info, but it's hard not to worry about job security when these kinds of things keep popping up. Hoping for the best for everyone affected and that things stabilize soon. It's a challenging time for the automotive industry in general, and Rivian seems to be navigating some rough waters right now.
