Doesn't seem like the exact number of affected employees has been widely shared yet, but it's definitely happening. This isn't the first time, and frankly, it's getting worrying. It's definitely concerning to see continued layoffs at Rivian. While market conditions can be tough, this many rounds of job cuts in relatively quick succession does raise questions about the company's long-term strategy and financial health. Hopefully, they can stabilize soon and provide some clarity to employees and investors. The automotive industry is incredibly capital-intensive, and building out manufacturing and supply chains is a massive undertaking. Let's hope this is just navigating bumps in the road rather than something more serious.
