Rant: So tired of the constant pressure!

Honestly, I'm just so burnt out. The pressure to deliver these past few quarters has been insane. We're constantly being pushed to work longer hours, weekends are becoming the norm, and the deadlines are completely unrealistic. I understand that we're a startup and need to prove ourselves, but this is unsustainable. My team is already short-staffed, and if they cut anyone else, I don't know how we'll manage. I'm starting to resent coming to work, and my mental health is suffering. Something has to give. I'm seriously considering looking for another job, even if it means taking a pay cut. My well-being is more important than a fancy title or stock options at this point.

I hear you. Startup culture is brutal sometimes, especially when chasing aggressive growth. It's easy to get caught up in the 'hustle' mentality, but at what cost? Maybe try documenting the impact of these unsustainable hours on your team's output and morale. Presenting concrete data to management might be more effective than just complaining. Good luck – hope things improve!

Welcome to the club. Every automaker feels pressure, especially new ones. Rivian promised the moon, but the reality of mass production is hitting hard. Long hours, cost cutting, and missed deadlines are part of the game. Buckle up, because it's probably going to get worse before it gets better. At least the stock options might be worth something someday...maybe.
