Heard whispers about 'restructuring' - anyone else nervous?

Okay, so I've been at Robinhood for almost 3 years now, in a backend engineering role. Lately, I've been hearing more and more talk about 'restructuring' within my team and across a few others. My manager has been acting weird too, kinda distant. No concrete details, just a general vibe that something's up. Anyone else feeling this? Is it just paranoia, or is there something brewing? I'm trying not to freak out, but the market isn't exactly booming right now, and I really like my job. Trying to gauge if I should start discreetly updating my resume.

Definitely feeling it too. In the compliance department and the higher-ups are acting shady as hell. Meetings behind closed doors, cancelled one-on-ones. All the classic signs. Start polishing that resume and discreetly reaching out to recruiters *now*. It's better to be prepared than blindsided. Good luck!

Honestly, 'restructuring' could mean anything. It's corporate speak. Maybe your team is just getting reorganized to be more efficient. Maybe someone important quit. Or, yeah, maybe layoffs are coming. Three years is a decent run, but don't panic. Focus on what you *can* control: your performance, networking within the company, and having an updated resume ready, just in case.
