Robinhood Cuts Again - 63 People Gone. What's the real reason?

Just saw the news about another 63 people laid off at Robinhood, this time in Menlo Park. Seems like this is becoming a regular thing. Last time it was crypto support, this time who knows. The company line is always about 'restructuring' or 'efficiency,' but it feels like there's something bigger going on that they aren't telling us. Are they losing market share? Is their core business struggling that much? The constant layoffs are brutal for morale, and it makes it hard to trust the future here. Anyone have any inside info or thoughts on what's really driving these cuts? Feels like they're shrinking faster than they're growing.

Honestly, it's hard to see constant layoffs as anything but a sign of deeper issues. While they blame 'restructuring,' the sheer frequency makes you wonder if the business model itself is sustainable or if they overestimated growth post-pandemic. It's a tough environment for employees, and it definitely raises questions about long-term stability for anyone relying on the platform.

It's concerning to see this pattern emerge. When a company repeatedly downsizes, even if they have a narrative about efficiency, it often points to financial strain or a strategic pivot that isn't going as planned. The market is incredibly competitive, and perhaps Robinhood is facing pressures they didn't anticipate, leading to these difficult decisions.
