Ross Stores - Any word on hiring freezes or internal shifts?

Has anyone at Ross Stores, across any department, noticed a significant slowdown in hiring or any internal reorgs happening recently? I've been hearing through the grapevine that some departments are being asked to be more strategic with headcount and that there might be some internal shuffling. Nothing concrete, obviously, but the general chatter suggests a change in pace. Is anyone else seeing this? Trying to get a sense of the internal climate and whether it's worth pursuing opportunities within the company right now or if it's better to look elsewhere. Any intel is appreciated, even if it's just hearsay.

I haven't personally experienced or heard of any major hiring freezes at Ross. My department has been pretty consistent with hiring needs. That said, retail can be pretty dynamic, and things can shift quickly depending on the season and overall sales performance. It's always good to be aware of the internal climate, but I wouldn't necessarily put the brakes on pursuing opportunities based on whispers alone. Keep an eye on their career page and don't hesitate to apply if something catches your eye.
