Ross Stores - Anyone else feel like the workload has increased dramatically?

Lately, it feels like I'm drowning at work, and it's not just me. My team is stretched incredibly thin, and projects that used to be manageable are now a struggle to complete on time. We're being asked to do more with less, and the pressure is definitely mounting. Performance metrics seem to be getting tighter too, which is making things even more stressful. I'm starting to wonder if this is a deliberate strategy to push people out, or if they're just expecting us to absorb more responsibility without proper staffing. Anyone else feeling this constant pressure and increased workload? It’s starting to feel unsustainable and frankly, quite demoralizing. Wondering if this is a widespread thing across Ross or just my specific area.

I've noticed it too, it's definitely a struggle lately. It feels like the expectations have gone up while the resources haven't. I'm constantly juggling multiple tasks and feel like I'm barely keeping my head above water. The tighter performance goals add a whole other layer of stress, making it hard to feel like you're ever truly caught up. It's disheartening to see the team stretched so thin.

Totally agree. The pace feels relentless now, and it's not just the volume but the complexity of what's being asked. Trying to meet these increasingly demanding metrics with fewer hands on deck is a recipe for burnout. I'm curious if this is a company-wide trend or specific to certain departments. Either way, the pressure is palpable and it's impacting morale.
