Hey everyone, been with Ross for a bit now and things have felt... different lately. Not hearing any official layoff news, but there's definitely a vibe of caution. My department's been told to really scrutinize travel and non-essential spending. Some projects that seemed greenlit are now in limbo. Wondering if others are seeing similar things or if it's just my specific area. Has anyone noticed hiring freezes creep in, or are internal transfers becoming more common as people look for stability? Curious to hear what's going on across different divisions. Definitely feeling that cautious atmosphere here too. We haven't had any official announcements, but there's a noticeable tightening of the purse strings. Non-essential travel is out, and discretionary budgets are under a microscope. It's creating a bit of uncertainty, and honestly, makes you wonder about what's on the horizon. I can confirm the 'vibe of caution.' My team's project pipeline has slowed considerably, with several initiatives suddenly put on hold indefinitely. It's strange because performance metrics are still strong, but the focus has clearly shifted to cost-saving. I've noticed fewer external job postings too, so I wouldn't be surprised if a hiring freeze is in effect, even if it's not being explicitly stated.
