Rumblings at Ross? Anyone hearing anything?

Hey all, been with Ross for a few years now at the corporate level and things have felt a little...off lately. Been seeing some budget freezes creep in, and a general sense of 'tightening the belt' that wasn't there even six months ago. My team's been asked to hold off on non-essential travel and training, which is usually a green light for something bigger, in my experience. No official word, of course, but the whispers are getting louder. Anyone else at Ross HQ picking up on this? Are you seeing similar signs in your departments? Curious if this is just my bubble or if it's a wider thing. Feels like the calm before the storm, and I'm just trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is just a normal Q1 slowdown.

I've definitely felt a shift too, even from the store level. We're being pushed harder on sales targets, and some of the usual promotional events seem scaled back. It makes you wonder if there are bigger changes on the horizon. I've been hoping for some positive news, but the vibe has been a bit uncertain lately. Keeping my ears open for anything concrete.

Interesting to hear this from the corporate side. My store has also experienced some unexpected stock shortages and fewer new arrivals than usual, which has impacted our sales potential. It's frustrating when you can't get the product to meet customer demand. Hoping it's just a temporary lull and not indicative of deeper issues within the company.
